**** Everyone needs to attend the award presentation.
**** We may eat afterwards in Lockhart.
Our team goals are to win as many divisions as possible and run more indiviuals then any other team in the district. If you are healthy there is no reason to miss the district meet. We don't work this hard for nothing!!!! Bring your family and friends to watch Canyon dominate our new district.

You've Done It!! Great Job Everyone!!!! All your hard work, dedication and endless hours of practice have come to fruition for you to reap the reward. But please don't stop now, this is just one battle that has been won. There is still one more that needs to be conquered (Regionals) and then off to the war (State). (My apologies for the war analogies, but remember Round Rock) This is no time to give up and relax, there is still more fun to be had and as you all know this is the Canyon Cougar Cross Country TEAM so everyone matters. Weather you manager or support or are still running it takes everyones continued hard effort to move the TEAM forward to STATE!!! We only want the best for everyone and when there is Victory the Glory is shared by ALL.

I agree, we are all in this together. I received several e-mails today congratulating us on the outstanding showing at District. When all our hard work pays off it makes all the difficult times disappear. Thanks to all the wonderful parents and runners who every year devote their time and effort into make the Cross Country program awesome.

I have to say congrats to all the cross country team for their great showing at district. You all looked like the team that put in all those extra hours of running during the summer and weekends. How I've seen this team grow over the past four years not only in size but in also as runners. You all have matured and learned to compete. As competitors you all should not be satisfied with just a great showing at district but you all should hunger for an even better showing at regional and state. So lets all keep focus, practice smart , and have fun. Come Saturday I'll be out there cheering because you all have made me proud to be a CANYON CROSS COUNTRY Parent and FAN!!!!!!!!!!
